For the right moment to come.
He wondered if the sun didn't shine as
brightly today as it did before.
It just seemed a little darker.
He stared at the door
Thinking if by looking it'll open.
He counted the time,
first by hours,
then by minutes.
Seconds came and went, longer the the first
and still he waited.
And then Alas!
He rose as quickly as he could
But he was slow.
His burden was just too heavy.
He looked at him with distant eyes,
with a cold stare,
and an empty face.
There was no one but
a figure of a man from the past.
A past he tried too hard to forget.
It was dark.
He sat back down
And then he waited.
Patiently,
Once more
Until he comes.
